The Yamaha MT44, Multitrack Recording On Cassette Launched In 1983 The MM30 mixer and PB44 patch bay, whilst not bad, aren't so impressive, and unless you want something to fit neatly into the Yamaha rack, there are possibly better alternatives on the market. Yamaha sold a very specific cassette with a small reflective sticker in its center, so that the MT44 would see it as a tape and unlock recording to tracks #3 and #4.
